The Citizenship Foundation (May 2007) published a booklet entitled Life and Law in Britain: a guide for young asylum seekers and refugees. It aimed to support newcomers by detailing, in clear and simple terms, essential cultural and legal norms to help both with short term needs and also with long term integration. The Citizenship Foundation believes that Life and Law in Britain is a starting point for a wide range of resources, projects and programmes that are crucial for enabling newcomers to settle into life in Britain. It can be viewed here.
